This proposal for a large clubhouse complex near the Moroccan town of Safi, embraces its rugged coastal landscape, with architecture and topography developed in harmony. Combining residences, guest accommodation, sports and leisure facilities the resort uses both excavation and addition to integrate built and natural elements.
The stratified design follows the site’s natural slope to maximise views to the sea and town, with the orthogonal layout interwoven with public and private gardens. The clubhouse comprises a range of hospitality and guest facilities, accommodating functions at all scales, from major sporting events to more intimate meetings and gatherings.
