This proposal for a large clubhouse complex near the Moroccan town of Safi, embraces its rugged coastal landscape, with architecture and topography developed in harmony. Combining residences, guest accommodation and sports & leisure facilities the resort uses both excavation and addition to integrate built and natural elements – for instance, following the site’s natural slope has maximised views to the sea and town, dictating a stratified design.

The modern, rational architecture is softened through this relationship with natural elements, and those are integrated into the design also through several public and private gardens. The clubhouse comprises a range of hospitality and guest facilities, accommodating events at all scales, from major events to more intimate meetings and gatherings.
