Excavating the entire lower level has created a generous full width living space, with a kitchen and dining area that opens out onto a sunken garden. Modifications to the upper floors include refined architectural finishes and improved storage and insulation, optimising the home’s energy performance.
Large glazing, a simple pared-back material palette, and reconfigured utility and circulation spaces better connects the living areas to create a sense of calm throughout the house. The light-filled ground floor is further complemented by a carefully designed and crafted kitchen, dining table, and joinery by Jack Trench.
