BSc (Hons) MArch ARB RIAS

Drawing on her extensive project management skills and experience, Sarah confidently guides designs from conception through to completion.

Sarah’s portfolio includes high-end residential, commercial and historic restoration projects. She regularly works with listed buildings in sometimes remote locations, steering proposals through statutory consents while ensuring the protection of special features, local identity and surrounding landscapes. Sarah has worked extensively on Moxon’s redevelopment of the Invercauld Arms Hotel in Braemar, renovating listed buildings and delicately navigating the design and construction of new ones. She is also working on an adaptive reuse project for the Braemar Mountain Rescue Centre.

Prior to joining Moxon, Sarah led on the first housing association project to be completed in Cairngorms National Park, redeveloping the Old School in Ballater to provide 24 energy efficient affordable homes to the local community. Outside of work Sarah is a keen photographer and an ambitious hillwalker, currently on track to ‘bag’ 100 Munros.

Sarah Russell is based at the Scottish office.
