Our Commended scheme for the National Wildflower Centre proposes a building and garden that are intimately synchronised in a seasonal cycle. Through tantalising seasonal shifts our proposal expresses the intimate link between green technologies and nature, and enlivens the centre throughout the year, whilst dramatically illustrates the physical principal of thermal expansion.
