Architectural Assistant Pt.II

Julia is a confident communicator, creative and ambitious in her approach, and highly skilled in illustrating her ideas. 

Julia has experience working on a wide range of public projects and a keen interest in the interplay between the natural and built environment. She is involved in Moxon’s workplace projects including Great St Helens, and residential projects including Coombe Lane West, Shirewood House, and Les Benoits in France. 

Julia worked previously at 2Portzamparc on the construction of a public library in Paris, gaining valuable knowledge on technical design and contract management. She studied at the Architectural Association (AA) in London and holds a Bachelor of Architecture and Urban Design from Pontifical Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro, graduating with distinction. As part of its exchange programme, she has also studied at the University of California in San Diego. 

Julia’s passion for travel is matched by her enthusiasm for languages, alongside her native English and Portuguese she is fluent in both German and French. She is also a skilled tennis player and an active AA alumnus.
